When do you need brand consulting rather than a full rebrand?

Brand consulting makes sense when the main issue is not visual but strategic: unclear positioning, weak brand architecture, a vague value proposition or a lack of coherence between business, brand and impact. If the current identity can still do its job, it is usually better to clarify the strategy before opening a full rebrand.

It does not always end in redesign work: sometimes the right decision is to strengthen what already exists and set clearer priorities.
